Sara wrote: "I'm also planning on skeleton stuffs a stocking for holiday"Just picked up my first TBR series of 2025. Looks intriguing--and fun. Thanks!
Finished A Christmas Candy Killing and started The Great Hippopotamus HotelI'm prioritizing selected books because the remainder of the challenge is open to whatever I select.
It's only the end of March and I've already completed 5 of the sub-genres without a single book crossing over into a different sub-genre.
Finished We Three Queens - not sure which book I'm reading next. It's only April and I'm nearly halfway through the challenge, I think I'll read some non-fiction for a while.
At the halfway point - I have read 15 of the 30 books for this challenge.Going to begin reading The Body in the Bookstore, a series I've been meaning to start.
Finished The Body in the Bookstore - presently at 16 read. Going to re-read the Murderbot series since it comes out next month on AppleTV
Read The Ghost and Mrs. Mewer. Presently have read 17 of the 30 book challenge.Since I last posted about 10 days ago, I've also read two non-fiction books and the first Murderbot book. On the second one now.
And Stephen King releases a new book in 20 days.
Not sure I'll make much progress on this challenge until I get Murderbot and Stephen King's book out of the way But who knows?
Finished This is Medium and Medium Have I Never - another genre is complete. Now at 19 of 30 books read.Back to Murderbot
Finished Cheddar off Dead - now 20/30Going to look for a different historical, I've gone off on the book I initially selected.
I've completed the challenge. Should have probably signed up for reading more, but life is uncertain and I don't want to stress myself.
CONGRATULATIONS!!I understand the self stress-out... This is the only challenge I force myself to do annually--in an effort to make me read mysteries, which I love and want to read. I see other challenges, but rarely join in because I like reading what I want when I want and challenges sort of force reading. This year I added a few challenges and while none of them have really hampered my read-what-I-want style, I do feel a bit stressed about hitting the goals I've set. I'm not sure I'd do others again next year.
