The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer is an important and enjoyable book. She discusses the comparison between the economy of nature and economies in the modern world. I love her vision of a happier, greener world; specifically the concept of the “gift economy”.

The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer was very enjoyable. I listened to the audio book of it. The narrator had such a calm voice.
That's great, I never think of audiobooks because I fade out of listening to them. I know some authors make 10% of sales from audio, so there is definitely a market, but I am not aware of how well non-fic books do in this format.
Also enjoyed her other book, Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants. Oh my gosh! This book was medicine for a weary soul. Take the teachings of the North American Indigenous people and mix it with a little scientific knowledge and add a splash of what plants can teach us. The audio book was very good and it was narrated by the author.
