Ughhh it’s so hard because I always have good book ideas but then I start thinking about things like “how would I publish it… (if I want to..)” or like “AGHHHH I NeEd An EDitOr”

You could always publish through Amazon KDP, it’s the easiest. I’m gonna self edit my book, I can’t afford an editor 😭💀

I keep changing my plot 😭 and I'm still stuck between choosing from two very different genres

Literally I just got to my books final draft and changed the plot 😭 I couldn’t choose between genres so I just combined them and hoped for the best.

How can I motivate myself to write more?? 😭😭 Also should I be self conscious for my parents/family to read my book if it has spice in it? I’m only at 11,000 words and I promised at least 60,000 💔

i saw someone talking about publishing so here's a quote i saw somewhere: "publishing won't save you, but writing just might." don't focus on getting published, it can get overwhelming.
and my advice is to just write something. like make it horrible. make it ugly. let it make zero sense, just write it down. then do the editing and fixing.

that's so true but i'm such a perfectionist 😭 like, even if it's just me who sees it, it needs to at least make sense and be fairly coherent and intelligent-sounding for reading in case it is ever somehow leaked....
anyway, i try to work like that, just jot down everything without thinking too much about it, but then it's a pain to edit cuz i come up with new, better ideas and rewrite paragraphs and yeah.. pretty difficult but oh well i make it work 😂🥲

feeling this right now…… im in-between projects currently after deciding to take a break from my current one and struggling to figure out what to work on next. i want to get into writing short stories so i can gain more experience writing original fiction but i’m stuck in the ideating process because the prospect of writing a short story is so intimidating that i can barely bring myself to start……. raauughgh
