I think I'm going to have to add this book to my To Read list. If I like it I will probably end up following the series.

Phryne is always fun. You should check out Greenwood's Corinna Chapman series. I've read the 1st and it was excellent.

I have read several mysteries written by this author. Her books are skillfully written and commands the absorbed attention of the reader.

This amazing book has 47 chapters. Cussy Carter is a Pack Horse Librarian and the last female of the Blue People Ancestry in Appalachia Kentucky. The depiction of time and place is fantastic. This book is filled with many portrayals of the time period, and the story will stay with me for a long time.
