I’m Lucy (41) from England. I’m a newbie around here. My favourite books tend to have a consistent theme of a strong female protagonist, my current read is The Poppy War - R.F. Kuang.
I’m happily married to James, (for 11 years in April) we have a fur-baby called Nero; she’s Siamese/Maine Coon. We also love to travel, & we are avid cinema goers, I’m happiest at a music festival & or gig. Download is my favourite!

Hello, Barbs! What time periods do you enjoy? For me, I love the WWII period. Have you Becoming Madam Secretary or The First Ladies? I do recommend those and following Reese's theme, have strong female leads.

How many of u guys have read Trickery by Jaymin eve? Or Half a soul by Olivia Atwatts or Four pyschos? Can you guys reccomend me books where the main female lead is very talkative at the point that she keeps rambling and has no filter is very clumsy but sharp minded. Or where the female lead is very emotionally detached and calm?
