3.5-4 stars for me. This book takes a long time to pay off but I kind of get why and when the pieces start to fall into place I enjoyed it. You can tell this book was written recently and honestly that took me out of it at times. In a book about time travel it was weird to have such recent references and it didn’t quite work for me. Really felt like a book that someone wrote while stuck in quarantine but overall I thought the premise was cool and it was an overall brief enjoyable book that was different to things I have read recently.

i thought this was so so good and one of my best reads recently. the way things tied together was really complete which i think is rare. there was also the mystery and plot twist (love those in books). i also thought the futuristic stuff and covid stuff was a bit odd but i think it worked for me for the most part. def want to read more from her.
