What book did you read where you liked the "bad guy" more than "good guy?

Okay, this isn't really a popular opinion, but Dumbledore from Harry Potter literally tried to kill Harry several times. Yet, everyone makes him out to be the hero, and he's very biased when it comes to Harry as well. The real 'good guy' is Severus Snape. Yeah, he's done some stuff, but at least he didn't try to kill a child. What is yours?

Same though. It's like that in surprisingly a lot of books.

Yeah, same.

Olivia Gonzalez (osgonzalez) Draco Malfoy and Severus Snape are classic. As annoying as he is, Boromir from LOTR is another one I ultimately like. This is a trope I've mostly come across with film and tv moreso than books I have read- but I do love the complexity of these characters, especially when they are well-written.

He is the High King of the Winter Court and honestly black haired guys have my heart. (I haven't even finished the first book yet so I don't know HOW bad he is yet, but I do just know he is a bit evil)
