Did you see the ending coming? Looking back, was there anything that you noticed was foreshadowing?

When I got to the twist at the end I was in tears!!! completely torn up. I will say that once I got to the ending and looking back, the garden!!! Scarlet was not a gardener, it was Constance who planted the rose after Edward died. Aside from that I didn't notice any other clues.
