January - June 2025

This is an interactive game in which we’ll work together to create a rainbow of book covers.

Here’s how it works:
1. Person #1 claims the first color in the list and reads a book that features that color on at least 25% of the cover. They also post the next color in the list for the next person to claim.
2. Person #2 follows suit with the second color in the list, and names the third color as the next one up.
3. Once you finish reading your book, report it as finished and provide the date you finished the book. After that, you may claim the next color in the list.
4. When the list of colors is completed, we begin at the top for another cycle through the list.

You may only claim one color at a time and must complete your book before claiming another color.

Example:

Just for clarification, we do not have to wait for the person in front of us to read their book, and the person behind us does not have to wait for us, correct? We just post as completed and then chose the next color that is not claimed? Just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly :)

That's correct. You read at your own pace. Whenever you report your book as finished and include the date you finished it, then you may select a book that fits the "next" color that is waiting to be claimed.
