I felt the same way about Beautiful Ugly. I actually DNF at 75%. I put it aside for a different read and just had no interest in going back to it. It was really weird and not in a good or interesting way. my review

I've also read The Memory Library, which I enjoyed more. my review

I have Head Cases to read and I'm really looking forward to it. I also have Penitence. I read a sample of that one and thought it was good, so I'll be reading it soon. I grabbed Close Your Eyes from Kindle First and I have a library hold on What Happened to the McCrays?.

I am currently reading The Lost House. I've just started, so don't really have an opinion yet, but the prologue certainly grabs your attention.

Seems like January is a big publishing month for me this year. I'll be back to look more closely at the list.

Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney The Memory Library by Kate Storey Head Cases (PAR Unit, #1) by John McMahon Penitence by Kristin Koval Close Your Eyes by Teresa Driscoll What Happened to the McCrays? by Tracey Lange The Lost House by Melissa Larsen

May is always a good month for releases for me. I haven't had a chance to really look at the list, but just in the first 15 that show up I have already read Parents Weekend and The Love Haters. I enjoyed both of them. I am currently reading The Man Made of Smoke and have It's a Love Story to read next. I am also looking forward to The Tenant and My Friends, which I should be able to get pretty quickly through my library. So, there's six out of just the first fifteen for me.

Parents Weekend by Alex Finlay The Love Haters by Katherine Center The Man Made of Smoke by Alex North It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan The Tenant by Freida McFadden My Friends by Fredrik Backman

I got an ARC of My Friends, which I was so grateful for because the UK release is a month later than the US release and I was seriously grumpy about that!

I read it last week and I loved it so much.

That's excellent! I did not get an ARC of that one, but I'm excited for it. I'm waiting rather impatiently. lol

I have read Forget Me Not and The Locked Ward. I preferred Forget Me Not, but they were both pretty good.

I am currently reading The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective. So far it's really good. It has a great cast of interesting characters.

I want to read Too Old for This, The Witch's Orchard, Well, Actually

I'm curious about Are You Mad at Me? and hope to read it. I'm also curious about Everything Is Probably Fine, but haven't added it to my TBR just yet.

Also, I have The Fourth Daughter and The Women of Arlington Hall from Kindle First Reads. Neither of them are high on my priority list, but they both look interesting.

Quite a few this month! As usual, going through the list brought additional reads to my attention. There are a couple of cute looking autumn romances in the list and a couple of WWII stories I was unaware of that I will need to check out.

Forget Me Not by Stacy Willingham The Locked Ward by Sarah Pekkanen The Marigold Cottages Murder Collective by Jo Nichols Too Old for This by Samantha Downing The Witch's Orchard by Archer Sullivan Well, Actually by Mazey Eddings Are You Mad at Me? How to Stop Focusing on What Others Think and Start Living for You by Meg Josephson The Fourth Daughter by Lyn Liao Butler The Women of Arlington Hall by Jane Healey Everything Is Probably Fine by Julia London

This is an unusually slow month for me. I am interested in The Impossible Fortune, but I am behind on the series. This is #5 and I still need to read The Bullet That Missed (#3). Similarly, I have some interest in Other People's Houses, but haven't read the previous 2 books in the series.

A couple that look interesting to me are Fox Creek, Amity, and Please Don't Lie, which I received through Kindle First.

The only one I definitely want to read is a short story in the Orphan X series, The Code.

The Impossible Fortune (Thursday Murder Club, #5) by Richard Osman Other People's Houses (DC Morgan, #3) by Clare Mackintosh Fox Creek A Novel (The Fox Creek Plantation Trilogy Book 1) by M. E. Torrey Amity by Nathan Harris Please Don't Lie (Crystal River, #1) by Christina Baker Kline The Code (Orphan X, #10.5) by Gregg Hurwitz

I want to read The Intruder by Freida McFadden. That woman writes faster than I can read.

I'm also excited for And to All a Good Bite. This series definitely has a formula, but I still find it so fun. This is book #32 in the series!

I'm interested in Gone Before Goodbye. I'm curious to see what Harlan Coben and Reese Witherspoon come up with together.

I'm not sure how interested I am in The Ordeals, but it is coming in one of my book boxes, so I'll be reading that eventually.

I received Call of the Camino from Kindle First and will read that at some point too.

I ran into a few others in the list that look good too, but I did not add them to my TBR. My TBR already has far too many books on it, so I'm trying not to add them all.

The Intruder by Freida McFadden And to All a Good Bite (Andy Carpenter #32) by David Rosenfelt Gone Before Goodbye by Harlan Coben The Ordeals by Rachel Greenlaw Call of the Camino by Suzanne Redfearn

I have purchased Call of the Camino. I think it was a bargain. It’s on my list. I like having something in stock for back up.

I read Brigands & Breadknives. It was good, but not quite as good as the previous two.

I'm currently reading The Forget-Me-Not Library and really enjoying it.

I have The Restoration Garden coming in my book subscription box later this month. I'm looking forward to reading it.

I have The Fix and What She Saw from Kindle First. I also have some interest in Without Consent and Falling Apart and Other Gifts from the Universe.
