I'll nominate Whiteout since I'm planning on reading it soon anyway. The cover says it's a "novel" but it is written by many different authors and the description says "interwoven novel." I've already read Blackout and it is a bunch of stories that all take place at the same time and where characters make appearances in other stories, so I thought of it as interwoven short stories not a novel. If you don't think it counts, that's fine.

February is the shortest month of the year, so we will be using it to celebrate some of the many YA SHORT STORY COLLECTIONS. Choose a book to nominate that is either a single author or multi-author YA short story collection. There are currently no short story collections on our GROUP BOOKSHELF, so your options stand wide open! Standard nominating rules still apply (see below).
Nominating Rules:
- Nomination Period: starts January 1 and will stay open for 7 days or until we have enough valid nominations.
- You may nominate multiple books and the mods will triage the list if necessary.
- All nominations need to be classified as YA unless the nominating category specifically allows exceptions.
-
Books must be first in a series or a standalone.- Books must be at least 3 months old.
- Books must be available in print and not just ebook form. It is helpful to nominate books that are easy to access; so that members do not struggle to acquire the book if it wins in the polls.
- No author promotions allowed.
Next Steps: After nominations, the books will go to a poll to determine the winner.
