Wow, funny to get two science fiction. I read Stranger in a Strange Land in the 80s, but remember so little besides grokking and the sexiness, I think I will re-read; it will be interesting to see how it holds up since I remember it as being thrilling - was that just to a high schooler?! Also clearly the universe wants me to read Christmas Oratorio, as that was on the list last year and I ignored it :)
Death of Virgil - read and reviewed! I started this in March, so I'm very proud of myself for finishing it this year, actually.
I have to say, this is courageous. I haven't read it yet and it sits on my TBR shelf. I have had reports that it is quite a difficult read; it probably explains why we've had so few reviews so far.
