Romeo and Juliet - 5 stars, print, 7Jan25A reread as we embark on a new production at the Ohio Shakespeare Festival! This is the most uproarious comedy Until It Isn't.
Tigana - 4 stars, audio/print, 20Jan25
The world building is incredibly detailed and I loved the characters - morally grey and unexpected make for excellent drama. Definitely not waiting another decade before a reread!
The Scarlet Letter -3.5 stars, audio/print, 22Jan25I need to dig Nathaniel up and throw a thesaurus at him. Overuse of "ignominy" like CRAZY.
Inferno - 5 stars, audio/print, 28Jan25
I have the Longfellow translation in print but the audio Pinsky translation was excellent too!
