3. Vultures of the World: Essential Ecology and Conservation by Keith L. Bildstein; another overdue NetGalley ARC.
4. Warrior Girl Unearthed by Angeline Boulley5. The Keeper of Night by Kylie Lee Baker
More overdue NetGalley ARCs, although WGU was an audiobook.
6. The Klansman's Son: My Journey from White Nationalism to Antiracism by R. Derek Black; shockingly another old NetGalley ARC
7. Between Earth and Sky: Our Intimate Connections to Trees by Nalini Moreshwar Nadkarni; an actual physical book! Got a signed copy last May when I saw her speak at a conservation conference.
8. Wake Up and Open Your Eyes by Clay McLeod Chapman; NetGalley ARC that only got published last month!
9. The Sinners All Bow: Two Authors, One Murder, and the Real Hester Prynne by Kate Winkler Dawson10. The Widely Unknown Myth of Apple and Dorthy by Corey Ann Haydu
Two NetGalley ARCs; gave up on TSAB last month at 9% in when the author's writing style just wasn't doing anything for me.
11. Deep as the Sky, Red as the Sea by Rita Chang-EppigNetGalley ARC that failed to grab me a half hour into the audio book.
14. Cat Scratch Fever by Tara K. HarperPaperback that I picked up from the library book sale pre-COVID. DNF @ 19 pages/2 chapters.
....I am *not* on track to finish on time right now.
15. Fair Play: How Sports Shape the Gender Debate by Katie BarnesAnother old NetGalley ARC.
Hey look, two book in two weeks!
16. That Librarian: The Fight Against Book Banning in America by Amanda JonesDNF at 26%/2.5 hours into the audio book. Old NetGalley ARC.
I did the math and requested a bunch of NetGalley ARCs on audio book. I've got close to a two hour commute each day, and I need to use it ASAP to reach my goal.
18. Cradles of the Reich by Jennifer CoburnAudio of an old NetGalley ARC. Wow, almost like I can use my commute time to meet my goal *eye roll*
19. Book and Dagger: How Scholars and Librarians Became the Unlikely Spies of World War II by Elyse GrahamAnother audio of a old NetGalley ARC, but I DNF'd this one after the third chapter.
20. Astonishing and Extinct Professions: 89 Jobs You Will Never Do by Markus RottmannAnother NetGalley ARC, this one on the Kindle.
21. Eat the Ones You Love by Sarah Maria GriffinClearing out the old NetGalley horror ARCs for Halloween!
I think I may be back on track now, with the audio books.
22. Rust in the Root by Justina Ireland; audio book of an old NetGalley ARC, DNF 5 chapters in23. Bitch: On the Female of the Species by Lucy Cooke; audio book of an old NetGalley ARC; fantastic, shame I let it linger so long unread
Okay, 13 books left and about 12 weeks left in the year. I think I've got this back under control. Or at least not as out of control as it was before.
25. Eat the Ones You Love by Sarah Maria Griffin26. Old Wounds by Logan-Ashley Kisner
27. Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean
All old NetGalley ARCs, with the last being an audio book. I've got 9 books left with about 9 weeks left in the year (I'm sorry, how is that possible?), so I think I got this.

1. Enigma Girls: How Ten Teenagers Broke Ciphers, Kept Secrets, and Helped Win World War II by Candace Fleming
