Second, decide who will read for which Supply Card.
Third, decide who will make the team's Completion Posts. (It can be one person, or you can take turns. The team's Completion Post can be posted as soon as everyone has reported. The latest the team Completion Post can be posted is early Monday morning.)

These are wonderful names, Jane! I’m drawn to Paperback Pilgrims as a team name!
Hi Team. I'm Susan, from NJ. Thanks for thinking up some names Jane! I like all. Paperback Pilgrims sounds good to me.
Can i just say girls , its Janine not Jane 😄😄😄, thought it best to say now rather than later .Tbh im called alsorts JJ from some workmates , Jen from others , as long as its not Jan ( which for some reason i do not like and my mother insists on using it all.the time 🙄🙄)

Yikes. We've been on challenge teams before, right? I'm sorry for using the wrong name.
Do you think we should send a message to Tori? Is anyone friends with her? Challenge starts Monday and we have some things to sort.

I think that we should let Lanelle know that we have not heard from Tori yet. I’m unfortunately not friends with Tori.
No probs Susan, i went to message Tori but im not her friend and profile private .Ill go and submit the name we all like to Lanelle and mention about Tori at same time

So sorry, Janine. I apologize too for using the wrong name.
Tori wrote: "Hello, I am checking in. I'm sorry I am just checking this now, we had a rough start to our week."Hi Tori!
Well that was a lot of action for the last 10 minutes 😄😄Hi Tori, glad you here hope you like the name .
Hope things get better in RL
So we have step 2 to decide:Decide who will read for which Supply Card.
I can do any of them. I suppose Spare Parts and Food are the easiest for me, but really any of them works.
I did see in the QA that we can only read 4 of the 5. We have to leave one out.
I vote we decide by seeing which tasks we can complete easiest.
Janeylou wrote: "Is this game based on a show and if so, would it make a difference which one we left out"I do not watch TV much outside of sports and news; I have no idea. Looks like it's a video game
I think our calamity will be based on which task we skip. -- yes, I confirmed that , found that answer in the QA
Does anyone want to volunteer to do the completion posts? I don't mind doing it. However, if someone else wants the job, that's fine with me.
So..as im reading it after rlthe first week we have to read 1 bk for 70 miles each week after ( wk 4 & 7 ..any book ) .Is that all we need to do or are there other tasks as well
Nora wrote: "It’s based on a computer game that I used to play back in the day."An expert ..great 😄😄
Whats do we think is best to skip then or do we just got qith what weve got this week.
I read several books a week so could probably do any of them
Actually, we might want to skip Clothes. I seem to remember things that will require all of the other Supplies.
Ive got a pirate book coming that works for sea ..and its also got a double letter in title , so take your pick Susan
Susan A wrote: "Does anyone want to volunteer to do the completion posts? I don't mind doing it. However, if someone else wants the job, that's fine with me."Im easy going also , can play it by ear whos around at the time

I think that we should ask Lanelle. I’m confused as well.
Hi! Just heard back from Lanelle that two different people need to read two different Medicine books.
Ive asked as well as think we just read 4 books and hope we pick the 4 calamities we may get in following weeks ..so pot luck Will see what she says
Janeylou....So we only read for 4 calamitie cards and hope that we pick the 4 correct ones for following weeks calamities
Lanelle
....Correct. If you get a Calamity that you don't have a Supply Card, no worries. I have provided several ways for your team to deal with it. You'll see when you get Week 2's instructions

You and three friends are about to embark on a perilous journey. You will be traveling by wagon from Independence, Missouri, to the Willamette Valley, Oregon. It is going to be a long, long 1,960-mile walk.
You will face wildlife, starvation, disease, thieves, severe weather, accidents, and worst of all, no libraries :)
But you can do it together with your companions. (I promise you will not die of dysentery.)
