While I had a very hard time with the first half of the book holding my attention, I stuck through it. The twists and info learned at the end of the book added to the story. I gave it 3 stars. My review is on Goodreads.

This book was a tough read, but at the same time I loved it. There was so much there. I gave it 5 stars. I'm not even sure where to start with this. I felt like this story was very well written. The characters invoked all of the feelings they should have. And man, some of them were just beyond words. How do cycles get broken? Why don't cycles get broken?

Kate, Violet, and Altha (sp) were very strong characters. They were so intertwined that it was interesting to see how over such a time frame they could be so linked.

I am glad I read this book. I do think trigger warnings should be on this for some readers. But then they might benefit the most from this story. My heart goes out to those who live this type of story.
