Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

I'm new to the group and looking forward to participating in the challenge. After a reading gap of several years, I started reading again in early 2024. I set a modest goal of 12 books. I read more than my goal. So I'm hopeful that I can meet this year's goal as well. I really want to choose option #3 but since I'm still getting back to my regular reading, I'm worried that I won't complete it. So I'm choosing option #1 as my 2025 goal. But if possible, I will at least be trying some of the option #3 challenges as well, just for fun and to hopefully stretch myself a little.

Welcome, it's great you want to give one of the challenges a try. Like Gail said it's your decision and if you do option #1 and complete it no one says you can't give option 2 a try or even do a second option #1. You make it work for you.

Suzanne, welcome and good luck with your determination challenge! I’ve found the encouragement here and setting goals is helpful to get to books I’ve always meant to read. The recommendations I get here help immensely too - at least in making my tbr to be read list quite immense. 😀📚📚📚
