Normal People discussion

Hey I am curious if you guys could recommend me some books that are like sally rooneys books. I mean that there are usually romantic relationships in the story where everyone struggles with something. I dont like too sweet and cringey romance stories. I am already reading through Sally Rooneys other books, but these kinds of stories really click with me.

Hey! what do you tend to like most about Sally Rooney's books? If it's the "Irish-ness" of the writing, I would definitely recommend reading Bodies by Christine Anne Foley (Irish author, fiction/thriller.) If you like the concept of Normal People as a whole, I would recommend Talking at Night by Claire Daverly (fiction/romance,) or Exciting Times by Naoise Dolan (Irish author, fiction/romance.)
