Harper was at the park, listening to her iPod.

g walked through the park bored

krist was at the beach,letting the waves wash over her feet

Harper watched a guy walking.

Jessy climbed up a tree.

Garrick frowned.

G saw a harper ((is it ok if they know each other?))

Krista was bored,she stared up at the sky

((yeah))

Harper realized it was G and got up, walking over to him. "Hey." she said, giving him a hug.

"hey"he said hugging her back "long time no see"he said

"I know right? Summer's been crazy." she said.

"yeah"he said "so,what have you been?"he asked

"We went to the beach for a few weeks and besides that I've just been hanging out here." she said. "you?"

"my brother has been having some issues"he said

She looked concerned. "Is he ok?" she asked.

"yeah"he said

"What happened?" she asked.

"he joined a gang and is doing some stupid stuff"he said

"Your brother?" she asked, surprised. "I never thought he would be..."

"yeah,well,ever since mom he's been getting worse and worse"he said

She nodded sadly. "I'm sorry."

"it's ok"he said "so um, got any plans?"he asked

"Not today." she said. "Why?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out"he said

She smiled. "I'd love to."

"great"he said smiling back. "where do you wanna go?"

"Wanna get something to eat?" she suggested. "i'm starving.

"sure"he said

"Where to?" she asked.

'how about the cafe down the road? I heard they have really good soup there"he said

She smiled. "OK."

"alright,let's go"he said walking down the street towards the cafe

She walked beside him, looking around.

"I wish it was still july"he said

"I know." she said, already dreading the end of august. "Summer always seems so short."

"yeah,I don't want to return back to school"he said

"Last year though." she said grinning. "we're gonna be seniors."

"yeah"he said. "and it's gonna be good for danny(his little bro) to be back in school"he said

She nodded. "i agree."

they got to the cafe. they sat down in a booth by a window

She watched people walking outside.

he ordered a pepsi when the waiter came by

She ordered iced tea. "So G," she said. "When are you gonna admit that you're in love with Stacy."

he blushed "I'm not in love with her! we're just friends"he said

She snorted. "Your blush tells otherwise."

"i'm not blushing"he said

"You so are." she said.

before he could say something the waiter came back with their drinks. G ordered some soup

She did also, stirring the ice around in her cup.
