I humbly and abashed repeat what I've been saying- I am constantly reading poetry and will make a concerted effort to crank out reviews. Cancer during Covid broke something in me.

That would more than do it, Nina.
Why don't you list your reads here with a simple thumbs up or down so we can at least see what you're reading and whether you've liked it. Or perhaps we can come up with a simplified micro reviewing format. I'm open to suggestions and can bring it up with the other mods.

I've run it by the other moderators. I think most of us have had periods where writing full reviews isn't possible, whether for health reasons or general busyness. I certainly have. Having a quick format would allow us to share more.
This is what I came up with for a simplified review. Feel free to take it, modify it or leave it. Just a thought so we can learn about what you're reading and whether it's a thumbs up or down for you.
1. A 3 star rating (1=Didn't like it. 2=it was okay, 3=I liked it),
2. Theme(s)/subjects(s): None or blank is a valid answer. If there is one, provide a simple list of 1-3 words describing it.
3. Tone/mood(s): 1-3 words describing the general mood.
4. Language/characteristics of the poetry: 1-3 words describing (such as plain, alliterative, dynamic, academic, gritty, formal, short or long, dense or spare, whatever suits).
5. Basic thoughts/impressions: 1-3 sentences.
