Play Book Tag discussion

The friendships, relationships are what push this book up to four stars for me. To be honest, I'm not that big on reading about another person trekking across the States, but there's much more to this book than that. Alan wakes up in the hospital (read the end of the previous book to learn why.) Before he can continue his journey, he has to recuperate. As the blurb says, he starts to realize that he's also going to help Angel with her life as well. It's a complete spoiler to tell you who my favourite character is in this book, but so far I haven't named this person. Does he continue his walk before this book is over? I'll not tell, but since there are five books we know that eventually he continues.
