Good choice! I've never heard of that one, but Treasure Island is a family favorite :)

I just started The Outsiders by SE Hinton, a more modern classic. Somehow, as a kid in the 60's and 70's, I never read it!

Oh, I read that one 30+ years ago and loved it. I might have to read it again and see if I still do. Great choice.

You were right - it was excellent! Don't know why it took me so long! I'm planning to watch the 1983 movie adaptation, too. :)

How's The Black Arrow?

Once I got used to the older style of language it's actually been really good. Not quite finished though. It takes more brain power. ;)
