This is where anyone can post and answer any trivia questions, but please note: This does not add to your rank on the leaderboard.

Barnette ⋆˙⟡ (my girlfriend's version) Sai :) wrote: "the stomach? idk im just following human anatomy"

message 9: by Sai :) (new)

Sai :) (the climate catastrophe is real) | 330 comments intestines?

Barnette ⋆˙⟡ (my girlfriend's version) Sai :) wrote: "intestines?"

Nope! I'll tell you. When a chicken swallows its food, it moves down the esophagus into a pouch called the CROP. The crop is a pouch with tiny stones in it, and can be seen from the outside of a chicken, right under the chest feathers. The crop inflates and deflates depending on how much the chicken has eaten. There's a lot of health issues that can affect the crop, such as sour crop, impacted crop, and crop parasites.

like, slimy stuff? (does it count if the answer is some sort of mucus?)

message 15: by Sai :) (last edited Jan 26, 2025 12:55PM) (new)

Sai :) (the climate catastrophe is real) | 330 comments Brooke (The Beatles version-school hiatus for real)♡ wrote: "Is it urine or feces?"

nope!

but there is a type of seabird whose chicks vomit on their attackers. since the vomit has grease, it would ruin the predator's feathers and could be potentially fatal bc of that

message 20: by Sai :) (last edited Jan 26, 2025 08:34PM) (new)

Sai :) (the climate catastrophe is real) | 330 comments should i tell you (as in, the answer to the trivia) or shall more guessing ensue?

DUDE WHAT. first of all that's really cool. second of all, I don't really want that in my search history but... third of all, where did you learn this? fourth of all, what allows them to do that? is there a way for humans to do that?
sorry I have so many questions

message 35: by Sai :) (new)

Sai :) (the climate catastrophe is real) | 330 comments um i just read it in a book or smth a few years ago...ive known this and many other cool (or weird, your preference) things for a long time. i'm not really sure what allows them to do that, from what i know they just expel it. it's harmless, they can regrow it in a matter of days. and i dont think humans can do that because unlike sea cucumbers, we can't naturally replace our vital internal organs (sadly)

Barnette ⋆˙⟡ (my girlfriend's version) This chat is gross lmao
