nicole | 2 comments Let’s talk about her books! I’ve took a good dive in so far. What have you read? What’s your favorite? What do you dislike? I want to hear it all

Least favorite TBD

Dawn (dawnella77) | 86 comments I have only read one of her books- “The Housemaid” which I loved. I have many of her books books in my want to read.

Alora Summerlot | 1 comments I’ve read the inmate, never lie, the coworker, the boyfriend, and housemaid. The boyfriend was definitely my favorite !

message 5: by Sylvia (new)

Sylvia (forest_maiden) | 34 comments I’ve read two out of the three Housemaid series books (and have loved both! But the first one slightly more); I own all three since my mom is a big Freida fan and her and I share books! I’ve also read The Inmate and One by One. I have all of her other books on my TBR list! My mom just finished The Boyfriend and absolutely LOVED it (like, can’t stop praising it) so she gave it to me to read which will probably be my next one (even though I still have to read the third Housemaid, haha). I am also super excited for the two new ones coming out this year! The Crash and The Tenant. I actually pre-ordered both yesterday! 😁

I have not read any of her books as yet. I guess I'm missing out?

Gabriele (tapati1) | 3 comments I read the housemaid which was okay.. also read the widows husband secret life, never lie and the boyfriend and they were really bad! I really wanted to like her books as she is so popular but I don’t understand the hype?

I read a lot of thrillers, crime and mystery books and hers just never compare to the other ones. Anyone else?😅😬

I agree Gabriele. My daughter gave me The Teacher and The Inmate and talked me into checking out The Housemaid because she loves Freda but I just can't get into them. I wanted to like them too so I could joyfully discuss them with my daughter, and I tried to do that, but I don't plan on reading anymore. One of the reasons I love book discussions - different people have different opinions.

Molly | 2 comments I’ve just finish “The Housemaid”. It’s good but I was expecting it to be amazing for some reason. I will deffo read the second one soon! Ward D was very good and I’m currently reading “the inmate”. Looking forward to reading some of her others that are mentioned above ☝️😬

Nika | 1 comments Ooo hi all, finally found a chat I want to be part of!
Obsessed with this author and really loved “Never Lie”. I’m thinking to buy my next book and can’t decide between the Boyfriend and One by one?!

Phrynne | 648 comments I have only read The Widow's Husband's Secret Lie so far and I thought it was brilliant! I keep meaning to read another of her books - hope I will not be disappointed.

message 12: by Leah (new)

Leah Waddington | 1 comments I just found out about the groups and chats! I have read all 4 of The Housemaid series books, and The Crash. That’s it so far, but am going to read more for sure!

message 13: by Marisa (new)

Marisa LM I've got mixed feelings about her books... I really enjoyed The Coworker and The Perfect Son. But I didn't enjoy at all One by One, Never Lie or The Locked Door. Now I'm reading The Inmate and loving it too 🙃😁😁 (and I've got The Crash on my tbr)

message 14: by Lilian (new)

Lilian Lopez | 2 comments I enjoy her books I started with the boyfriend and then the housemaid collection and then I wanted to read the crash but I read mix reviews

message 15: by Keisha (new)

Keisha Beal | 23 comments The Housemaid was excellent! After reading this I was hooked! This book started my McFadden journey then I read through the Housemaid trilogy, which led me to Never Lie, The Locked Door, Ward D, The Boyfriend, The Inmate, One by One, Rhe Teacher, The Coworker, then I began getting kinda bored 🥱 but since I was so invested…I had to read The Perfect Son and ughhhh 👎🏻that’s when my FcFadden roller coaster began slowly descending 🎢 with The Crash, then came the most recent which was when it came to a complete stop with The Tenant which was the end of my ride with McFadden! Does anyone recommend any of her other books not listed that are any good or worth reading???

Well stated. I just recently read The Tenant, and it fell far short of her earlier books. I will look for other authors now.

I have only read The Locked Door, which I enjoyed but needed something a little less tense for my next read. I will read more by this author, but suspect I won't binge read her (as I want to sleep at night!)

Charissa Wilkinson (lilmizflashythang) | 269 comments I've read "The Boyfriend" with my mother, neither of us liked it much. We found the characters to be too immature for women who are approaching their forties.
