Play Book Tag discussion

I wasn’t sure I wanted to read this memoir, written by a woman who was the sole survivor of her family after the Sri Lanka Tsunami in 2004. It seems this book came about because her therapist encouraged her to write about what she was going through at the time. Indeed, her painful psychological journey over the 7 or 8 years after the event is the substance of the book. Although one cannot have anything but deep sympathy for what she endured, I didn’t especially enjoy reading this. However, there are some beautiful descriptions.
