I finished A curse of blood and stone, from the fate and flame series. I am loving that serie, I haven't read books like those in such a while. But I need a break bc I really need to continue with the Arc of a Scythe serie. Now I'm reading Thunderhead, and I should have star this serie before bc what are those characters, that plot... Omg definitely you should read it.
And then I hope to read the last book in that serie, but I'm not ready yet, so I'm taking it slow.
Hi Friends! Time for another Last, Now, Next!
After FINALLY finishing Onyx Storm, I immediately picked up Deep End by Ali Hazelwood, and that was the BEST decision I've made. Seriously, Ali NEVER disappoints. She's definitely an auto-buy author for me, that girl can get me out of a slump so easily.
After finishing that glorious work of art, I've finally pulled the trigger and started A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I'm only 11% through right now, but it's going well so far!
If I love the first one, then obviously that makes my next read A Court of Mist and Fury by SJM

I finished Quicksilver by Callie Hart on 1-28-25 after nine days of reading it on my kindle. I won't lie, I was underwhelmed with the first 60% of it, but it's hard for me to DNF books, so I stuck with it and I will say that the ending pulled through and was good! I'm hoping it's going to be like ACOTAR (since it seems like it's going to be a series?) where the first book is just really slow until the end since it's setting up all the world-building and plot for the other books. I don't know that it was exactly worth all the hype I hear on TikTok, if I'm being honest, but it was still a three-star read for me and I don't regret reading it.
Now, I'm reading Onyx Storm, which I started on 1-29-25. I've been a little busier than when I read the first two books, so I haven't gotten to binge read it. I'm 14% through the book now and it's starting to pick up, so I'm excited to see where it goes! Violet seems to really be stepping into her role as a rider and has gained a lot of confidence and I can't wait to see what her second signet is (if we find out this book)!
Next, I'm HOPING to start A Court of Thorns and Roses, but I'm a mood reader, so who knows? This is a series that has been on my TBR for a WHILE, but it's such a commitment and also I didn't know if I was ready for that level of fantasy yet, but I definitely am now! If I decide I need a break from fantasy though, I think I'm going to read Deep End by Ali Hazelwood (releases on 2-4-25).
