Found another whopper - the group read for March - The Women by Kristin Hannah. Haven't calculated the exact total, but a rough estimate is over 40,000 miles!

Is that our current totals as at the end of March? If so, mine should read 74,418. My current read has 5,813 miles so far but I haven't finished the book yet so haven't updated my challenge total in my last post on my thread :)

So sorry about that, Erica! I just looked at the last number on the last March entry, which was where the 5813 came from. I updated the March progress with the correct miles and will pay closer attention!!

I forgot how actually challenging this challenge is!! To help boost up those miles, don't forget about the new "Layover" books - up to 3 selections of less than 200 miles. Pop over to the opposite side of the world with a short book to rack up some quick miles!!

How does reading books translate to miles? Not sure how this works.

I've read a couple of books that have turned out to have lots of travel, which has really helped!

As a group, we at almost 1.3 million miles!! I know my progress will slow down during the Summer TBR Challenge, as there are a lot of contemporary novels on my list. I'm going to step up my global jumping - US to Asia to US, etc., - to try to get to that elusive million miles!!
