Hi everyone,

I am now taking nominations for the March 2025 Book of the Month on this thread.

As a reminder, here are the rules:
- Please try to include a link to the book if you can
- Check the Previous BOTM list to ensure we haven't read it before (https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...)
- Limit your nomination to one book per month so everyone has an equal chance of winning
- Get your nomination in by Tuesday, Feb. 11th - the poll will go up on Wednesday, Feb. 12th.

Thanks,
Becky

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 25 comments I’m a newbie, so I’m open to feedback if you think my first choice is too heavy on science. I want to read The Devil's Element: Phosphorus and a World Out of Balance by Dan Egan soon. I loved his book The Death and Life of the Great Lakes, which remains my favorite nonfiction book about ecosystems. A scientist friend says his new book is just as good.

I will look for a backup just in case.

Hi Nancy. I don't think this group worries about it being too heavy on science, so feel free to consider this your nomination! ;)

Since we only had one nomination, your book is it for March, Nancy! :) I won't put up a poll, but instead I'll send out a notice and create a discussion thread for it.

This thread is now closed.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 25 comments Wow, I hope the book is as good as I’ve heard. Thanks Becky. This will be my first discussion with the group.
