Hi everyone! I’m Eugénie, 22 years old, and reading is, without a doubt, my favorite thing to do—ever.

I’m looking for beta manuscripts in the hopes of providing the most detailed and useful feedback for authors.

I’m new to Goodreads, but I’ve read around 210 books just in the past year, ranging from all types of romance (modern, fantasy, dark, gothic, historical) to fantasy, science fiction, thrillers/horrors, and some non-fiction.

I’m truly up for anything and am really excited for the opportunity to help anyone who needs it!

Hi Zyssa, I hope you're still taking on beta reads. I have a completed short humorous workplace mystery, The Case of the Disappearing Treasury Assistant, at approximately 11,000 words, so it's a fairly quick read.

It's the first in a new Detective Nimpha series and follows a Treasury Assistant who begins investigating changes happening around her at work — only to discover that the position disappearing from the organisation might be her own.

No knowledge of Finance or Treasury is needed. I'm actually particularly interested in the perspective of someone outside that world.

I'm looking for genuine reader reactions on the mystery, humour, pacing, anything confusing or repetitive, and whether you'd want to follow Detective Nimpha into another case. I have a short questionnaire for feedback afterwards.
