Haven't had time over the past two weeks to read and get back to The Will of the Many which Iāve been really enjoying reading! I'm about halfway through the book and hopefully, I can finish it in the next 3 days.
But this book is helping me tick off one of my goals for this year: conquering at least one 500+ page book (with 630 pages)
Hi Tonka! Looks like you are making good progress on your goal. Yay for checking off the goal of reading at least one 500+ page book so early in the year! Quite an accomplishment because those big books can be daunting. I hope that there have been a lot of spectacular books in your reading journey so far this year! Happy reading!
Hi! Thank you so much!! that message made me happy! š
It definitely felt good to check off that 500+ page book goal early in the year. But June has been Summer busy, so Iāve been slowly chipping away at one book Hamnet whenever I can find the time, even I love it so much I am taking loooong time with it

Aw, I'm glad my message made you happy.
I really enjoyed Hamnet, too! It really stuck with me.
Yes, I absolutely loved Agnes and the writing style in Hamnet. At the halfway point of the year already! Iām happy to say Iām staying on track with my goals. Even Summer has definitely been summering for me and my reading pace has slowed down a lot, but Iām still feeling good about it overall.
I just finished The Wolf Den trilogy and itās easily become one of my favorite reads of the year so far!
š Halfway through The Tarot Reader of Versailles and completely hooked! Beautiful, immersive writing and such a compelling dual narrative. Loving the way Adelaideās story unfolds through Caitlinās journal, this book is so magical, Canāt wait to see where it goes next!
Tonka, hope youāre getting closer to your goal and enjoying your 2025 reads! That's too bad your August books didn't land for you. Hope your September books make up for it.
Thank you Jenn! September was slow but fantastic ! I am currently reading the most challenging book ever, really struggling sometimes but it is also incredibly intriguing! thereās so much to discuss! Would be a good book club pick, done with these sections :The Pacific Journal of Adam Ewing
Letters from Zedelghem
Half-Lives: The First Luisa Rey Mystery
The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish
So glad September was so much better! I've heard of Cloud Atlas and have been rather intimidated. But you do make it sound intriguing.
