Play Book Tag discussion

This was a beautifully written story about the connections between humans and across history. It starts with following a drop of water that spreads across the significant historical figures and the characters that will feature in the book, entangling their lives together. I was surprised by the dark turn this book took in the second half, but even more surprising, was that this was the part of the book that I enjoyed the most, as the author wrote with so much empathy for her characters, especially Narin, whose story was just heart-breaking. I did get a little tired of the constantly switching perspectives in the middle of the book, and it was a little slow moving at times, and this was what prevented it from being a 5-star read for me, but it is definitely a book I would recommend to others.
