It's definitely quite a long one!
Good luck!
Alfie wrote: "Just finished yesterday. Started late so had to power through haha."Congrats!! This one is definitely a far cry from January's Tao Te Ching, in terms of length.
monks, it has occurred to me that i have yet to finish this book. but being myself, subject to birth, aging, and death, i am prevailing and listening to this bondage, nibbana, on audible.
so so behind with this book. I’m only on page 19 because I’m a college student. March will definitely be the month for me to catch up!!

Honestly, the repetitive phrases make it a bit difficult to keep going. I do enjoy the introductions to the chapters that summarize it. Pushing through, hoping to learn but also hoping to finish.
Haven’t been able to finish it yet, pushing through though! I really do hope to finish it. I have been enjoying it but I agree that it is a little too repetitive.
I'm halfway through this book (I've started late as i was reading a different book after Tao) and it's quite hard to get through. Similarly to Rebecca's comment, it's repetitive, but I like the introductions. This is supposed to be a book for beginners in Buddhism, but even though I know a little bit about eastern religions, it's quite confusing sometimes, there are a lot of names, rules, gods etc. which are not much explained and other things are maybe over explained.
I got almost half way through but I'm skipping and going for Epictetus now, I couldn't find it that enjoyable, but most importantly couldn't find much to learn from it. I'm excited for stoicism though, I've been curious how it is written about in books

It's definitely quite a different change in pace to Tao Te Ching
Has anyone managed to read it all?
