Samantha | 2 comments does anyone have any recs for classics? I have read and loved East of Eden and Jane Eyre, so maybe something similar to those?

✧ jasmine (active only on pin) ✧ | 37 comments If you liked the gothic vibes of Jane Eyre I recommend A Picture of Dorian Gray and Wuthering Heights! Do look up the themes of both bc some are misleading.

If you liked the romance in Jane Eyre I recommend Mansfield Park & Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen! Northanger Abbey is a gothic parody with a really sweet romance and Mansfield Park is a gothic classic romance!

Thanks for the recs! have you read both Mansfield Park and Northanger Abbey? if so which did you like more?

dido ⋆˚꩜。 | 3 comments I loved Northanger Abbey, and I didn't like Mansfield Park so much (but usually in reviews it's the other way round, so that could be me lol) Anything by Jane Austen or the Bronte Sisters will probably be good. Also Elizabeth Gaskell.
