This is a humor/cozy mystery book. I’ve always been a fan of simple covers, but this one may not be working for me. Any thoughts?

From a purely visual standpoint, it’s bold and eye-catching. However, for a humor/cozy mystery, this cover might feel a bit too minimal and abstract to convey the playful or whimsical tone that readers often expect.

The cover really doesn't relay what your book is about. It is eye-catching but looking at it I would never know it was a mystery. i usually go review other covers of the same genre as my book to see what catches everyone's eye. I then think about what I want my cover to look like. I want it to reflect my book and not anyone elses. I could maybe see a little humor in this, but it doesn't read "cozy" to me. As Enosegbe and Ann suggest, compare what other Cozies are doing.
