Linda C (libladynylindac) | 1821 comments This was interesting, fact filled, funny and disgusting at the same time. I must say I admire the dedication that astronauts devote to their career. What they have to go through to qualify is very hard. Besides seeing what they need to be able to endure, we learn about all the science that went into not just creating the rockets and flying them but making the trip livable for the passengers. Chapters cover zero gravity, G forces, food, bodily functions (intake, waste, cleaning), space walking, repairs, emergencies of all kinds, landing, and doing experiments through it all. Well worth the read.

Sue | 2769 comments Great review - I enjoyed this one for this month's tag too. It was on my TBR for a while, and I'm glad I finally picked it up.

Jason Oliver | 3162 comments I read this month as well. I enjoy everything Roach writes.
