The Seasonal Reading Challenge discussion

Okay, so maybe the thread title is a little bit clickbait-y, but I couldn't resist the Hitchhiker's Guide reference. I promise I'm not leaving completely.

However, it is bittersweet news I bring: the Spring challenge will be my last season as SRC moderator. I'd hoped my tenure might be a little longer, but life does what life does and in this case, it's brought an opportunity my way. Once I'm finished with my college exams this Summer, I'll be returning to university - something I've been wanting to do for over a decade now! It's nerve-wracking and exciting all at once, but it does sadly mean that I'll no longer be able to dedicate as much time to running the SRC as I feel the mod role deserves.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to my co-mods, JennRenee, Lucy-Bookworm, Ash and KmarieD, and to the team of mod helpers who've made things run so smoothly. You're all stars!

Like I said, I'm not abandoning the SRC completely. Studying comes with a lot of reading, so you'll likely still see me around as a player once I'm done revising and trying to remember how the heck student finance works.

The best of luck with your future plans, Jayne. I hope you still play along with us when you can! The great thing about the SRC is that it isn't about "winning", it's challenging yourself and learning about a lot of new titles!
