Y'all, the library system in my state has over 100 libraries..... but out of all of those books in all of those libraries, there's only 1 copy of Mortal Queens.... So I put it on hold, but there's 2 or 3 people ahead of me, so I'm not too sure I'll get to read it this month...

I know how you feel, Jazzie. I have two huge library systems, and neither one has it in ebook or book form. One of them offers the audiobook, so that’s what I am doing. I hope it comes in lots sooner than you expect!🤞

I found a copy on Hoopla, but I despise reading on a phone because it makes me looked so self absorbed. *sigh*

@Ellie and Audrey, lol YES! whenever I read on my phone in public I always make sure my phone is at the perfect angle so they can see it's a book. lol😂

Ok I'm a little annoyed that Talen keeps telling Thea to "go make alliances" but isn't coaching her on how to do that, how to tell who to trust, what would even make a good alliance, ect. So I kinda think she's doing the best she can 🤷‍♀️ idk I'm still only 25% through the audio book.

@Angela, yeah, I agree that he does just kind of throw her in there with little help in knowing what makes a good deal versus a bad deal.🙂‍↕️ I chalked that up to Talen’s never having advised a mortal queen before.🤷‍♀️

@Angela, I would have had more sympathy for Thea if she had a more humble, and sometimes cautious, attitude.

I don’t think she will like it as much as me, and I’m ok with that. But as long as it stays that way and she doesn’t hate it, she’ll be finneee!! :D
