Ramsey makes a sideways remark to Sam in passing that he knows the real details of what happened to Gonzo and that he’s in rehab. That includes knowledge of him buying drugs on the street. This could end his career. Why is Ramsey allowed to operate with impunity while repeatedly maligning other officers? That said, is Gonzo’s career in serious trouble? Is Sam doing the right thing by trying to get some leverage (dirt) on Ramsey?

What Ramsey said is true! Gonzo could be in a lot of trouble if IA chose to investigate. I don't think Ramsey is going to do anything, he gets his jollies from knowing he has something to hold over Sam's head. Ransey has chosen to play this little game, and Sam really has no alternative than to get some dirt on him.

Ramsey, like Stahl, should not be a policeman. So many people witnessed his behavior before this that he should have been fired.

Most of the cops in this series shouldn't be on the force.
Sam is unprofessional and aggressive; Freddy attacked a prisoner; Gonzo broke the law by buying drugs off the street; Farnsworth has so many scandals to weather, and Stahl and Ramsay are a disgrace. Seriously, the DC force needs a complete overhaul. Sam should be the first one to go, lol!

Sam wants to protect Gonzo, so she will try to beat Ramsay at his own game.

I don't understand how Ramsay can shoot his mouth off continually and not get into any trouble. There have been several witnesses to it. Are they afraid he'll start maligning them?

I have the feeling that Ramsey has a lot of dirt on a lot of people. He wants to feel in control and have people fear him.
