Another month where I can easily pull a book from a TBR Tower for the tag read for any of these choices!
I did wonder what would be considered fun. I think everyone has a different definition, and I certainly wouldn't consider Lord of the Flies fun. Having said that I do have a good number of want to reads in fun, as I do in Italy and actually a couple in paranormal fantasy, so I'm good with any.
I could easily find books for all three. I always look for overlaps…There are quite a few paranormal romance series that also have fun tags. My Brilliant Friend has both Italy and fun tags. I didn’t spot any Italian paranormal romance books yet. The list for the fun tag is the most surprising of the three. It starts off with light funny books, but quickly gets more substantial. (A Little Life?!) Think entertaining, not funny.
@Kate -the Morrigan Crow April release we’ve been waiting for fits the fun tag.
After the plethora of fantasy romance books I read for BWF plus similar reads, my first and second choices are obvious (but not saying the order; it's spring, though.)
Another month where all three look good to me. Although, as a historian, it’s probably not much of a noggin scratcher to ascertain my first choice. I will say, looking at the list, my idea of a fun book and others’ definitions of the same seem to be leagues apart. A Little Life was a two boxes of tissues book for me, and not in a feel-good romance kind of way. And 1984? Maybe some enterprising teacher put it on there hoping to entice young people to read it. All in all, though, lots of great books for next month no matter the tag.
I have something for all of them but only one option for Italy so obviously, since I'm a mood reader, I'd prefer one of the others. Bet it is Italy now I jinxed myself.
I am new to the group and I am a little confused about the use of google templates for voting instead of the Goodreads polls engine and about participation points. So I guess I will sit this one out until I figure things out. I do hope Italy will be chosen, although I have read a lot of books in the other two categories
Everyone gets at least 1 vote each month. As you read books for the tag you accumulate participation points and can use them to vote (up to 10 at a time)

If you have a preference, please go ahead and use your free vote. Last month the voting was very close, so every vote counts. You can vote for one tag as your first choice, and you can also vote for a second choice. This format makes it easier to accommodate our point system, and eliminate ties. It’s a safe and private way to vote.
One thing that makes this group special is that we share reviews each month. That’s the way we earn participation points. So why not review your latest book here. Thrillers read in March get double points.

I think the reason that is used instead of a GR poll is that the GR polls don't have options to say how many points you want to use.

You get 1 free vote every month. You pick your first choice - Italy I believe you said - and if you want pick a 2nd choice name it and give it 1 vote, but you don't have to.
Algernon - so glad you are joining us. We are vibrant warm welcoming group and I (we) look forward to getting to know you and reading your reviews.
thank you all for the welcome and for the explanations. I guess I am eager to get started here. I looked around some more, and I appreciate the range of options in the active topics. I will go fill the form now.
