I'm pretty new to LitRPG's. I've only read a handful of them. What are some of your favorite versions of monster taming or summoning in litrpgs, or even progression fantasy/cultivation books.

As an example Solo Leveling does it pretty well with the Shadow Monarch class being able to summon similar to a necromancer. Dungeon Crawler Carl has a bit of it too with the process of Donut mostly but Carl as well literally taming Mongo.

You guys have any other examples?

Not to shamelessly self promote, but the lack of summoner class reps, lead me to grant the Mc of my debut book the infernal forgemaster class. Mix of summoner and crafter. Free on KU, just made it to audible this week.

I'm reading a few so far I have found Taming Destiny, The wandering has aspects off it, Taming Acadamy and I have found Summoners Shadow, Minakai, and Novice Summoner as well as Heretical fishing might be considered in some way a tamer book but its more cultivation with spirit beasts
