Anjali led Ja’naya to the cabin.

She walked into the cabin. “I like it.”

Anjali smiled as she entered the cabin.

“Do you like your cabin?” She asked.

Anjali shrugged. “I mean yeah, I appreciate it but if I could choose to live in another cabin I probably would.”

“Hmm.” She looked around. “Where is your favorite place. Ever.”

“Probably Zeus’ Fist.” Anjali said, referring to the cluster of rocks in Camp Half-blood’s forest.

“What is your favorite place outside of camp?”

“Probably the forest near my house when I was growing up.”

“I love the forest.” She said. “It always felt like I was just free. To be myself.”

Anjali nodded. “Yeah, I agree. I also find the forest to be really calming and freeing.”

She nodded. “What would you like to do here?”

Anjali shrugged. “I don’t really know, maybe there’s a game we could play or something?”

“Sure, if we can find one.” She said. “Where do you keep your stuff?”

“I have this little drawer right here,” She said, walking over to a dresser and pulling out the bottom drawer. She had seven games and a pack of cards, all of which were from her grandmother that she’d ran away with.

“What do you want to play?” She asked.

do you think it’s too early for anything romantic to happen, since that could give us something to rp about? )

We could time skip at some point, so they have known each other for a while, I guess))

( kk, that sounds good. should we wait a bit before timeskiping?”

“You can choose what we play, I don’t really care.” Anjali replied.

“Do you know how to play kings in the corner?” She asked Anjali.

Anjali shook her head.

“It’s pretty easy.” She said, as she started to explain the game. “So, the objective is to get rid of all of your cards. Each player gets seven.” She dealt seven cards to each of them. “Then, it’s basically like solitaire. Only kings can go in the corners.”

Anjali nodded. “Sounds easy enough.”

She watched Anjali as she played. Her eyes darted everywhere, as if looking for something.

Anjali’s hands moved fast as she played the game.

“You learned quick!” She said before picking a card and than putting a red two of hearts on top of a black three of spades.

Anjali smiled as she looked over at Ja’naya, briefly watching her play before continuing to play herself.

Anjali only had 3 cards left, and she had 5. She laid down a 5 on top of a 6. Four cards.

Anjali placed down another card, bringing her down to two.

She watched Anjali place a card, which helped her lay down a 4. She laid down a 3 after that.

Anjali placed down a two. She was down to one card at this point.

She couldn’t do anything, so she just picked a card. “I’m expecting you one.” She said, smiling a bit.

Anjali returned a small smile before pulling a card since her current one didn’t have any moves she could make with it.

“You sure you haven’t played this before?” She asked, eyeing the amount of cards in her hand.

Anjali shook their head before pulling another card.

She picked another card, not being able to lay anything down.

Anjali laid down one card, then another, leaving her with one left.

She picked a card, and then she laid down two cards.

Anjali pulled another card before putting both of the ones in her hand down.

“I told you you’d win.” She said, putting the cards in her hand down.

Anjali looked up at Ja’naya, a small smile on her face. “Good game.”

“You too.” She replied, looking over at her, smiling back.

“Should we play another round or do something else?” Anjali asked.

“We could do either.” She said, shrugging.
