Hey everyone! Looking for a true enemies-to-lovers book—real rivalry, sharp banter, and actual tension before the romance. Any recommendations?

These lovers start the book at odds. He is a doctor and Union Army Colonel. She is a nurse and holistic medicine practitioner from the future. Did I mention she was a Black woman? Naturally, an interracial relationship in 1862 would be fraught with tension and challenges. It might not be exactly what you want, but you might like it. Adrianne Summer
