This week is National Library Week! I think everyone here will know what to do.

That is bizarre. Surely there are easier ways to make that relatively small amount of money. I wonder if they checked out books that they didn't want to see on the shelves, for example stories related to Pride or diversity. I mean, you have to think libraries are a bad thing to attack them this way, no?

Just seems like a fair bit of work for not much money. :shrug:

Here is something I stumbled across today on a day trip to Ann Arbor. There were signs in a lot of yards saying THE SUMMER GAME with hand-written words added saying things like B B B BUTTERFLY and SERVICE BERRY. So, I went to the actual library website and it looks complex, complicated, challenging, and confusing. If I lived there I'd have to make an appointment to talk to a member of the staff in May to get oriented and to get some extra tips....
