That is bizarre. Surely there are easier ways to make that relatively small amount of money. I wonder if they checked out books that they didn't want to see on the shelves, for example stories related to Pride or diversity. I mean, you have to think libraries are a bad thing to attack them this way, no?

Nothing to see here :::sharpens pitchfork:::
Here is something I stumbled across today on a day trip to Ann Arbor. There were signs in a lot of yards saying THE SUMMER GAME with hand-written words added saying things like B B B BUTTERFLY and SERVICE BERRY. I still don't understand that part...How a public library's summer game took over Ann Arbor, Mich. : NPR https://share.google/pKg80WMEphVyqfuHq
So, I went to the actual library website and it looks complex, and confusing. If I lived there I'd have to make an appointment to talk to a member of the staff in May to get oriented and to get some extra tips....

"Yes.
That meme reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Desk Set with Hepburn & Tracy.
The current administration is attacking the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS), which could result in reduced library services everywhere. It may even mean that Libby goes away.
