Noah and Josie arrive at his mother’s house for dinner and find her face down in a flower bed. As they attempt to do CPR, Josie discovers her mouth is packed with soil. But, she continues to do CPR compressions until the paramedics arrive and stop her, calling the time of death. Was Josie continuing for Noah’s sake or did she have a glimmer of hope?

I thought it was all for Noah's sake. She knew no air was going through.

I agree. She continued the CPR for Noah. Josie knew he needed her to do something, even if there wasn't any hope.

She knew it was useless but kept it up for Noah.

Josie knew very soon after finding Collette that she was dead and CPR wasn't going to make a difference, she continued for Noah.

Definitely for Noah's sake.

We all seem to agree, as do I. I also think she didn’t want to be the one to pronounce her dead.
