After reading reviews for this one, I think I’m going to skip. I don’t feel up for it right now. Think I’ve had my quota of lgbt for a while. 😖

Fair. I skipped Remarkably Bright Creatures for the opposite reason.

I started while I was cooking and am 36% in. Jackie is probably glad to have missed it as lots of sex right up front lol

I do think the lore keeps it from being too much of erotica though. I like the split timelines

the split timelines are hard for me. I see the pattern in them, but I prefer one at a time instead of separate.

I see a theme. the person, the fox spirit and someone who is a "soul mate" is how I'm seeing them.

I could be totally wrong though

Yeah I think maybe if it was more broken into “parts” like flux it would be just a tad easier to follow. The switches can be abrupt at times

Yeah. I like it though...for the most part. I see the three people changing through the timelines.

I finished and I admit I ended up completely losing the plot at the end. I enjoyed it but think I would’ve done much better not on audio.

Also by the end I did not want to hear about anyone’s large “influence”. What a weird euphemism.

Huh. This is definitely something. I like the present. I don’t like Dong Xian. I get that he’s either Joey or River, but I don’t like that storyline/time period.

Okay, like Amanda, I should be done suggesting books. I probably won't be, but... this was not good.

I don't like all the weird books I suggest! Just Sorcerer and Flux!
