Overall for Quarter One I am giving myself grace due to all the external factors and the difficulty of traveling and moving house!
Proud of myself for still reading and every month I have read at least 3 books from my TBR!!!
I don't want reading to feel like a chore, so I'm happy I wanted to do some rereads and would rather do that than force myself to read books I'm not interested in at the time. There is something really comforting about rereads and I think when I feel stressed I like returning to that comfort and that's okay.

March '25 reflection :–I didn't get as much reading done as I wanted too, I ended up in a situation I find myself in every now and again where there are too many things I want to read and I can't decide which to get to first so I end up reading nothing for a bit😅 But! I have been reading some, which I'm so happy about because often I end up in almost a slump-like state and read nothing in these scenarios – but I've finished two new books and a reread (I've just started my Hunger Games reread, and got through the first book the other day). So, overall, not super happy with my progress this month, but honestly just relieved I've had any progress at all.
Quarter One reflection :
–For Q1, I'm generally very happy with my progress. I'm ahead of my reading goal, which is great, and I'm reading consistently, so even though I'm behind where I need to be to reach below 100 books, I'm optimistic about actually achieving it – or at least getting very close.
–I've not made as big a dent in my TBR as I wish, but I have added more books to my TBR since the start of the year because I'm giving some books I'd previously disregarded a second chance before I decide whether to get rid of them or not, and also I have added a few new ones too. So, while I've still got a way to go to reach my goal for the year, I'm encouraged by the reading pace I've had so far.

Absolutely, read what you feel you want too – reading is not a chore and shouldn't feel forced! I neeeeed to get better at letting myself do rereads, I almost always feel some kind of guilt when I want to reread something because I have so many unread books to get too, but I want to lose that mindset completely.
March Reflection:I only read two books this month. Took me forever to get through The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, but Sunrise on the Reaping was a great way to end the month. It has given me the urge to rereading THG, but thankfully, those books have been in storage for years and I won't have access to them any time soon, so a reread won't be happening.
Q1 Reflection!
I've definitely read a lot more than I have in recent years, but I still am in the process of rediscovering what I like, so I feel like I haven't done much to achieve that little goal. Although, I do think that'll take some time to figure out since I need to read more and more books to discover what my favorites are. I just want to fall in love with new characters and become obsessed like I once used to.
I'd say I made a small dent in my physical tbr. I added more books to my giving away pile and tried to read Severance, and dnf'd it at like 8%, so that was easy to get rid of. So, hopefully I'll continue with my physical tbr goals.

So relatable Josephine! I often feel like the first quarter of the year is so quick, it's difficult to feel like you're progressing in such a short amount of time, but I love looking at the year in chunks like this to see if any patterns emerge and I had a similar occurence last year around the same time haha.

Laura those are two fantastic books to read! Glad you enjoyed them as they are some of my favs!!
Figuring out what you like to read is such a rewarding journey but can definitely take some trial and error. My advice - trust your gut over social media haha.

How did March go??
I personally got a bit sidetracked by my Hunger Games reread and the new book... hehe oooops anyone else??
I'm also feeling really nostalgic and in the mood to reread some books (which doesn't help my goal haha)
In total I think I only read 3 books towards my goal in March, BUT I had a fantastic time reread The Hunger Games and Sunrise on the Reaping was the only book I wanted to read and I'm so happy I did (even though it ruined me for a week and gave me a book hangover).
