Well... I rarely (if ever) nominate anything in this group; and I hadn't planned on joining in a group read this May. But, since this thread is getting off to kind of a slow start, I'll nominate The Case of the Late Pig by Margery Allingham. (This is the eighth novel in the Albert Campion series, but it's the only one I've read, back in the late 60s.) It's been on my to-reread shelf for quite a while; so if it wins the poll, I'll read it again with the group.
