i’m scared because i haven’t read reckless yet, there were SO MANY bad reviews and theyre keeping me away. it’s not that i don’t want to know what happens but i just feel like there is so much better out there and what if i hate the ending😭😭 so anyway what did yall think of reckless and should i read it??

ALRIGHT, tysm you guys:)) i might just listen to it, might make it easier for me, and then i can prepare for fearless. unfortunately (nobody kill me), after i reread powerless to prepare for reckless when it came out... i rerated it 2 stars. i just feel like there was so much good, but at the end of the day i just felt if i wanted red queen in another font i would've just reread red queen and saved myself the hassle. but from what i understand, she veers off in a completely different direction after powerless, and again she's a super young first time author so i'm giving a little grace and i'll give it a chance but i just feel like there was so much wasted potential after my reread of powerless. and that's another reason i was so put off by continuing this series.
hoping that the ending she gives is good, and her writing style is BEAUTIFUL so i'm excited to see what she has in store for after this trilogy is completed:)

okayy am I the only who didn't like fearless 😭 i had really high hopes after reckless since i've hoped for a book with more plot for the ending of the series but fearless really did disappoint me :( the seemingly poetic language felt really repetitive and overdone for me at some point and annoyed the hell ot of me tbh😭 and the first 15 chapters felt like reading the same thing happening over and over again 🫠

alright chat... i finished reckless. my opinion is as follows...absolute hot garbage. that ending? how does that make sense. kitt makes no sense. i feel like he has no reasoning behind anything he does, nor do i think he even has a character atp. he's just there for an unnecessary plot twist that doesn't even make sense.
this being said... yes i'm still reading fearless. what can i say? i'm a nosy bitch<3
no hate to any of yall that love these books, everyone has their preferred reading material, this just isn't mine. and again, lauren's writing style is actually good sometimes, i think she just loses herself to her own plot sometimes. but because she's a debut author, i'll give her a little grace anyway.
