I have watched the 1st Percy Jackson movie (the lightning thief), and I have to say…it is a COMPLETELY different story than the book. VERY DIFFERENT!!!
I don’t like the movies🙃, I had Disney+ for a bit and started watching the first few episodes of the show and liked it but sadly didn’t get to finish, I did like it tho 😀I loveee the books ❤️
I grew up watching the movies and i have an emotional bond with them, even tho i read the books first i was not too disappointed with the movies. I absolutely loved Alexandra and Logan as Annabeth and Percy, i think the casting was phenomenal, and the first movie was totally enjoyable! I have to say that the second one is completely different from the book, still worth watching buf it misses out on some really important scenes (the siren scene, Circe island and so on). About the series, the actors perfectly embody the characters, and even with some differences from the books, i feel like it gives the perfect camp halfblood vibes, everything is so colorful and mythical, how we all imagined it reading. I also believe that the other seasons will have more to tell us, so i'm looking forward to that! Overall i enjoy both versions of pjo, i feel like character-wise the show depicts the younger percy and the movies the older one, as both Logan and Walker give percy jackson vibes, just in different stages. I feel emotional seeing a book i grew up with getting a new series now that i'm 20!
I’ve watched the movies cause my sister likes them. (The books not the movies) I gonna be honest I liked the second cause, two Hunger Games actors are in it.
Caesar Flickerman is Dionysus and Glimmer is Clarisse in Sea of Monsters. That is the reason I like it. 😂 You can tell I’m such a Percy Jackson fan, right? 😆

I know I got way to excited! 😆 I don’t really like Percy Jackson, but I will watch it for that reason. We are literally watching it right now. With Caesar I can’t really see it, but I can a little. With Glimmer I can totally see it.
