Lyra is staring at the door, pondering if going in was worth it, and if interacting with another living being was worth it.

Ember is sitting in the library before heading to her new dorm.

When Ember reaches the dorm, she notices Lyra just... staring at the door.

Ember looks at Lyra staring at the door. "You going to go in" she asks

"I think so?"

Ember says " I wasn't staring I was contemplating"

Lyra, who was about to open the door stumbles and falls face-first on to the floor and says, "What she said!" from the floor

Ember laughs stepping over Lyra. "How did you fall" she says lending a hand.

"Thanks," Lyra says from the floor, "I think I busted my nose. Oh, wait, never mind, I busted my back," she says, getting up on her own since she didn't know which hand to take.

Ember hurries and claims the big bed. "Mine" she says landing on it

Lyra stretches her arms, "No thanks, enough busting for me. So what's y'all's names?"

Ember throws the book on another bed. "the book is over there" she says pointing to the bed

Lyra sighs, and like the responsible vampire she is takes the smallest bed. Dumping her stuff onto the bed.

"You guys fight all you want, but it ain't gonna get you guys no where," Lyra chuckles

Ember growls. "Its MINE" she says

"Oop," Lyra says, watching the drama from a safe distance.

"Hey, hey, hey. Let's be nice, we just met each other."

"Okay... how about we talk about something calm... like gossip," Lyra suggested with a cheery voice.

"I was just joking! It's part of the girl rule book to know your new friends before gossiping with them," Lyra says, throwing her shoes across the floor without a care in the world.

Lyra falls into her bed, "So tell me about you guys."

"Nah, this is my first time here, I used to live in Great Britain, AND BEFORE YOU ASK I DO NOT HAVE AN ENGLISH ACCENT!"

While hugging Mariè, Lyra says, "At least you have memories of the past. One day I woke up in an abandoned building not knowing where I am, who I am, or what I am. I still don't know. Lyra di Silva is just a name I came up with."

Ember grabs her hand. Her eyes start changing colors. "This is my bed, I'm not going to say it any plainer or nicer so go find another one" she says

"WELL FIND ANOTHER BED" She yells

Lyra holds Embers hand before she can do anything violent, "Wow there!"

Lyra is tempted to run out of the room when she looks at Ember's face.

"Fine I'll find a different dorm" she says

Lyra glares at Ember and whispers-yells at Ember, "You didn't have to be so harsh!"
